Dear friends and fellow gear enthusiasts,
We’re incredibly excited to welcome you back to the Los Angeles Synth & Pedal Expo this spring. As we finalize plans for the show, we wanted to share an important update regarding our format this year.
After much consideration, we’ve decided to introduce a modest entry fee for visitors, ranging between $5 and $10. We know this is a change from our previous free events, and we want to be completely transparent about the reason behind it.
The decision was made as part of an ongoing effort to improve the quality of our events and, most importantly, to better support the incredible community of small and independent builders whose creativity and passion are the very heart of the show.
Here is what the entry fee will allow us to do:
- Support Small Builders: Most revenue from the entry fee will be reinvested directly back into the expo through targeted discounts for first-time exhibitors, traveling brands, and small, independent teams. This is how we ensure the show remains a diverse and original hub for innovation.
- Create a Less Crowded Experience and a More Engaged Audience: A small fee helps us attract attendees who are genuinely interested and invested in the gear. This creates a better and less crowded experience for the attendees and provides exhibitors with more meaningful connections.
- Increase advertising: A ticketed show requires a bigger advertising budget than a free one. Some of the cash from the ticket sales will be reinvested in extra ads.
Introducing the $20 “No Crowd” Ticket (including $10 Voucher)
For those who want to avoid the rush and get a more comfortable look at the show, we’re also offering a limited number of “No Crowd” tickets for $20. These tickets give you exclusive early access to the floor on Sunday, and you’ll receive a $10 voucher to spend with any of the exhibitors, making it another way your contribution goes directly back into the community.
In short, your ticket isn’t just an entry fee; it’s a direct investment in the synth and pedal community. It helps us keep the show vibrant and diverse, and it ensures that the creators you love can continue to bring their brilliant work to events like ours.
