“10 out of 10. These events are a great way to connect with players in a more meaningful way. We broke some sales records so that was great. It seemed like a good mix of people that were seeking us out & those that weren’t.” – Danny (Keeley)
“10 out of 10. This show seemed like it was the best one! It was one of the busiest expos since the pandemic and we felt it. There was near constant engagement with our table demo. I got the sense that a lot of people were unfamiliar with our product, but that meant that we got to introduce it to a new audience.” Eternal Research
“10 out of10. The event was great and the quality of interactions with attendees was fantastic. The audience was enthusiastic with a good knowledge base that made informed discussions highly positive. Pre-event logistics and communication were very good” – Alex (MAS Distro)
“10 out of 10, without a doubt. I was very satisfied with the experience from start to finish. I believe the ticketed version has attracted genuine enthusiasts interested in trying new items and purchasing gear.” Jay (Roland)
“10 out of 10. Consistently good traffic on both days, with no dead times. These events provide an increasingly rare opportunity for musicians to try out gear in person. The reach extends beyond the in-person attendees, as they post on their social media and discuss their experience on gear forums.” – Curt (Red Panda)
“10 out of 10. Very satisfied, great foot traffic, high engagement with attendees. At these show they get hands-on with our gear, can ask specific questions, and we can build new relationships.. [There were] overwhelmngly more attendees [than in previous events]”. – Steve (1010 Music)
“10 out of 10. Strong turnout in attendance. We loved seeing returning customers as well as meeting many new people. We also noticed there were more on-site coordinators that help make the day go smoother.” – Meris
“9/10 out of 10. The event was absolutely worth it. We were slammed the whole time, I basically got no breaks. Which was a good problem to have! In-person connection is much more valuable than algorithmically-delivered content, which dominates the online experience these days. It is much better to meet folks face-to-face.” – John (Electronic Audio Experiments)
“Overall, I was pleased and satisfied with the 2025 Brooklyn event. The layout and location worked out well for us. There was consistent traffic at our table throughout the entire show. Any event like this that lets potential customers try our products is an excellent opportunity for us and results in some sales.” Andrew (Groove Synthesis)
“10 out of 10. Very satisfied, easy & fun all around. I interacted with a lot of educated buyers who were not familiar with some of my products, so I feel like I was able to spread the word and create new customers.” – Ken (Reverend Guitars)
“That was a fantastic time, I cannot say enough good things about how you’ve grown the event over the years.” Andy (D’Addario)
“Looking forward to the next one and it was great to see how big of a success this last one was!” – Eric (Landscape)
“10 out of 10. This was the busiest foot-traffic wise that we have experienced in Brooklyn. I think the ticketing helped and attracted more serious buyers. We sold products and networked with a variety of customers.” – Mark (Summer School)
“10 out of 10. We were very satidfied with this year’s event. Sales were better this year than the last. We had many customers and inquiries for most of the duration of the event.” – Sam (Three Wave Music)
“10 out of 10. Very satisfied with the event this year. This was my third year attending the Brooklyn event and it was the best one yet. The foot traffic was insane, and I was surprised and delighted that my sales exceeded my expectations and hope that some of the connections I made will lead to new dealer opportunities.” – Bill (Acorn Amps)
“10 out of 10. I was very satisfied with the turnout and attendance. We stayed busy all day with people engaging and checking out the pedals. I’m already excited for the next show with you guys!” – Jonni (DigiTech)
“10 out of 10. The Brooklyn show was a blast! Probably one of the best ones we’ve participated in. I think the fact that people had to pay to attend made it better for all of us. More dedicated, focused, knowledgeable about gear and musical instruments. All in all, we were surrounded by passionate musicians and artists. Awesome show and we’re looking forward to next year.” Dan (Days of Yore)
“10 out of 10. The Brooklyn expo is consistently the show with the highest quality interaction with local musicians. The attendees are generally more knowledgeable and sophisticated than events in other Stompbox Expo regions. I will also add that this year’s show was—or seemed to be—equally busy both days. Very busy.” – Tony (Voodoo Lab)
“10 (out of 10) and with a want to get more table space. Extremely satisfied would be an understatement. This might be one of the largest crowds I’ve seen in quite some time. I can confidently say that BOSS interactions with this audience ended with a lot of sales of our products both new and old.” – Austin (Boss)
“10 out of 10, Very satisfied. It’s a great event, we look forward to it all year! We’ve come to think of these events as the best place for us to learn about the customers. To actually get to talk to them, see them interact with the products, this is priceless. It also gives us practice talking about our products and trying different language to see what is appealing vs confusing.” – Barton (Cosmodio)
“10 out of 10. I was very satisfied with the event. Foot traffic and demographic were good, and I met some YouTuber/ musicians that definitely fit into my ideal vibe. I’ll definitely be returning to most events that are offered for 2026.” David (Monger Pedals)
“10 out of 10. It was a good event, with fairly consistent high turnout throughout the weekend. Our product thrives on in person demonstrations, nearly impossible to convey what it is without the hands-on exposure provided by these shows.” – Gene (Entropy & Sons)
“10 out of 10. High foot traffic especially compared to recent years and an engaged audience. We definitely reached our target audience and were satisfied with sales. I thought it was significantly better since the audience was more invested in the event because of the door ticket.” – Ryan (Aviate Audio)
“10 out of 10. It was a blast to participate. There was a lot of interest in the DIY kits of Huntington Audio Labs. There was excitement from exhibitors (who understood it right away), visitors with electronics backgrounds, curious pedal/synth players, and even the completely uninitiated. For a visitor, hearing / feeling these devices in person is 1000x better than some product demo video. For exhibitors, seeing players try the devices, getting feedback right there and then – it’s extremely valuable. – Seth (Huntington Audio Labs)
“10 out of 10. I had a great time. I met a bunch of great people in the industry and sold more pedals than I had anticipated. Sales were good and the connections I made with musicians, enthusiasts, and other builders were the best part of the event for me.” – Josh (Concrete Sound Lab)
“10 out of 10. The foot traffic was great, tons of people came and our room was pretty packed start to finish. I like the idea of a ticketed show – you keep the tire kickers and friends/partners out, who weren’t serious about the pedals. We didn’t sell ourselves but our brands who did seemed to do well, and Tone Wolf’s sales were strong.” – Anna (MAS Distro)
“10 out of 10, I would definitely like to do it again next year! It was super fun and I met a lot of new people both for my shop and in the industry.” – Andy (Greenpoint Guitar Repair)
“8/9 out of 10. This year seemed to be a growth year. Ticketing seemed to increase attendance if anything. We had maximal foot traffic basically the entirety of the show, and visitors to our booth were highly engaged and excited about a chance to try Buchla gear, many for the first time.” – Nick (Buchla)
“9 out of 10. The turnout was as good as always. These events are a great opportunity for players to try out our pedals since a lot of guitar stores are closing.” – Yutaka (Electro-Harmonics)
“9 out of 10. I really enjoyed it and thought there was a great sense of community between both exhibitors and the audience. It was a very good inspiration and great for networking as well. I had a consistent stream of visitors basically the entire time, but was also able to talk to everyone effectively. People seemed very positive about my gear and seemed to have fun with it.” – Christopher (Shoe Pedals)
“9ish out of 10. The expo exceeded my expectations. The highlight for me was the opportunity to network with other pedal builders, distributors and influencers. Overwhelming amount of traffic that was pretty much full on for the entire event.” – Max (Reflective Digial)
“9 out of 10, we plan to exhibit again next year. Very satisfied, we were able to get out good promotion and information to the many visitors.” – Hiro (Kikutani Pedals)
“Great event overall. Very good turnout and perfect location. In a time of fewer MI retail spaces, your events give exhibitors and customers a chance to demo new gear and get direct feedback.” – Mark (IK Multimedia)
“8 out of 10. We’re happy with the outcome of the event. I would like to have made a couple more customer sales, but we’re happy that Three Wave bought all of the inventory we brought with us.We we had some good quality interactions with interested prospects and made a few good industry contacts.” – Michael (Synclavier)

“8 out of 10. Foot traffic was good, I was able to stay busy the entire time interacting with target audience. I’m happy with the sales and connections.” – Jonathan (Daydreamer Synth)
“The floor was packed for the majority of the event, maybe even more than in past years. It was definitely worth doing and would do it again. As a small maker, in-person events like this are the best and maybe the only way to cut through the noise of YouTube and social media, which is dominated by larger companies with bigger budgets” – Jack (Setonix Synth)
“8 out of 10. We had a steady stream of people, half of which had experience with synthesizers. Interacting with our instruments in person is a big deal for us. It helps musicians understand the unique qualities of our products.” – Scott (Kanawha Eurorack)
“I think the whole expo was great! It was really cool to meet so many people and have so many interested people checking out my synthesizer. I definitely want to do it next year too. ” – Kyle (Olydian Musical Instrument)
